- Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
- Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Stores (defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
- Entries into the promotion open and close at each Participating Store (defined below) as follows:
- BottleO: opens 18/08/2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31/08/2025.
- Cellarbrations: opens 25/08/2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 07/09/2025; and
- IGA: opens 27/08/2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 09/09/2025.
(Collectively referred to as “Promotional Period”).
- A “Participating Store” is any IBA store nationally that advertises the promotion and stocks the Eligible Product (defined below) during the Promotional Period.
- To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
- Purchase any Glenfiddich 700ml product (“Eligible Product”) from a Participating Store (“Qualifying Transaction”) and obtain a purchase receipt. If a purchase receipt is not automatically provided, it is the entrant’s responsibility to request one from staff;
- Scan the QR code on the POS available in store;
- Follow the prompts to the online entry page;
- Input the requested details and upload their purchase receipt; and
- Click on the digital cabinet displayed on the page to reveal if they are an instant winner. All entries will also be added to the draw for the chance to win the Major Prize (defined below).
- Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction regardless of the number of Eligible Products purchased in excess of one (1); (b) only one (1) entry permitted per person per day; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
- Only (1) Instant Prize permitted per person.
- Entrants must retain a copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the product purchased, store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
- The Promoter, reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- The draw for the Major Prize will take place at Level 3, 162 Collins Street, Mel bourne, VIC 3000 on 15/09/2025 at 11:00am AEST in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner of the Major Prize will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw. Instant Prize winners will be notified immediately online. The winner of the Major Prize and all Instant Prize winners will be published (initial, surname and postcode) at www.glenfiddichpromotions.com.au/behindthewhiskycabinet on 17/09/2025.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for two (2) adults to Edinburgh, Scotland valued at up to AU$18,000 depending on date and point of departure (“Major Prize”). Prize includes:
- 2 x return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Edinburgh, Scotland;
- 3 x nights' accommodation in a minimum four (4) star hotel in Edinburgh (twin/double share);
- Car hire for six (6) days to road trip through the Highlands. If the winner does not meet the prize supplier’s age limit for the car hire, they will receive travel allowance of the same value as the car hire which will be awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer to their nominated Australian bank account;
- 1 x nights' accommodation in Loch Lomond in a minimum four (4) star accommodation;
- Speedboat tour on Loch Lomond with Glenfiddich Drinks served on board;
- 2 x nights' accommodation in Speyside at a premium hotel near the Glenfiddich Distillery;
- Private return transfers from hotel to the Glenfiddich Distillery;

- AU$500 spending money (winner only) provided in the form on an electronic funds transfer to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account; and
- Comprehensive travel insurance for two (2) adults (subject to no pre-existing medical conditions and under 59 years of age).
Additional spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken within twelve (12) months of the winner being notified and is subject to booking and flight availability. Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods.
- The Major Prize winner and their companions are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation to meet all entry requirements into the United Kingdom, including obtaining a visa or electronic travel authorisation (ETA) if required. The Promoter is not responsible for any issues arising from denied entry due to passport, visa or immigration issues.
- The winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
- The Major Prize winner and their of their companion will each be required to fully complete a travel insurance application form provided by the Promoter, and may also be required to undergo medical tests as required by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, in order to redeem the travel insurance element of the prize. Any person found guilty of insurance fraud or failure to honestly and accurately disclose all relevant insurance information at the time of applying for a travel insurance policy or when making a claim forfeits any rights or entitlements to the travel insurance element of the prize. Travel insurance will be provided by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, and subject to approval by the travel insurer. In the event that the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer refuses to issue insurance to the winner and/or companion, the winner forfeits that travel insurance element of the prize. Travel insurance is subject to the terms and conditions issued by the Promoter’s nominated travel insurer, including but not limited to any limitations on the covered amount.
- Car hire prize is subject to standard rental conditions. Petrol and insurance is not included. The maximum kilometres during the six (6) days will be specified by the prize supplier at a later time. The driver must have a current valid driver’s licence issued in an Australian State or Territory and meet any age requirements. If the winner does not meet the criteria (e.g. suspended licence) they must nominate a guest who meets the car rental company’s requirements, and the guest must be the nominated driver on the rental agreement.
- Instant win prizes:
- 20 x Waterford crystal glasses valued at $249.00; and
- 30 x $100 VISA cards.
- Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the Major Prize winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take / redeem the prize (or an element of the prize) at/by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Total prize pool value is up to AU$25,980.
- Prizes, or any unused portion of a prizes, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
- A draw for any prize that is won but remains unclaimed may take place on 20/10/2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw and will be published (initial, surname and postcode) at www.glenfiddichpromotions.com.au/behindthewhiskycabinet on 22/10/2025.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Any instant win prizes that are won but remain unclaimed and are part of the advertised total prize pool will be awarded in the unclaimed prize draw.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking / participation in the prize.
- As a condition of accepting the Major Prize, the winner (and their companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.williamgrant.com/gb/privacy-policy/. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the promotion entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
